New Found Love: HIKING

"GO TAKE A HIKE!" don't mind if I do Lol. Hiking was something I always joked about and said I would never do. But as of lately, its something I love.
one day out of curiosity, my boyfriend and I found a local trail. it started off very steady but then it became very intense. From the long vigorous walks and the rocky inclined ground, it really gets my heart pumping. I would have never imagined how peaceful and beautiful hiking would be. And besides the bugs, its perfect!
Im still very new at hiking so I have been experiencing some challenges while doing so. Like keeping up pace and not getting so out of breath. Boy oh Boy I never knew how out of shape I was until I started walking a trail. Lol its no joke!!! But they're 2 benefits that I get from hiking that I not only feel it'll help me, but you as well...
BENEFITS FROM HIKING:
The 1st benefit from hiking is getting A PEACE OF MIND!
I battle with anxiety a lot of days and it can get very stressful trying to pack all my worries. But taking long walks on trails while focusing on the beautiful exotic scenery can really take your mind off of the negative situations in your life...
The 2nd benefit from hiking is WEIGHTLOSS or just simply getting into shape!
for years I struggled with my weight. I would go to the gym and/or workout at home, but neither one I enjoyed. So unfortunately, I would always give up. But luckily with my new found love for hiking, I haven't lost any interest. which I doubt I will because everyday I see something new and exciting while walking the trail. I havent lost any major weight since hiking but I feel the difference in my body each time I go. So I know its coming. my journey has just begun!
