21 year old Deja, widely known as DEE SUMMERS, is super talented and fiercely fearless. She believes in going after her dreams and continuously creating new ones. Dee is currently working on the release of "DEE'S DIARY" VLOG which is catered for her to express her thoughts, feelings, and concerns in her everyday life. Dee Summers and I met back in high school where we shared several mutual friends. She was always so unique and one of a kind to me. Dee had a style about herself that was so confident which reflected on her beautiful personality. I remember being a fan of her soulful singing and poetic dancing while growing up back in school. Although we weren't the closes friends , she always seemed to be one the realest and coolest people to be around. I am so proud of her and I cant wait to stay tuned to her upcoming vlogs and other projects she is working on...

Dee and I had a discussion the other day about the challenges she's faced as a young black girl growing up. "I felt like I wasn't pretty enough because I was dark skin" she explained to me. Dee Summers went on to tell me she was teased everyday all because of her darker completion. But one day she realized that she was beautiful regardless of the negative comments people made towards her. "At the end of the day that contributed to me being an independent woman... you cant make me feel any better or worse..". Dee expressed to me she hasn't always been confident an comfortable in her skin due to the challenges she occurred, but the strong female influences in her life helped her to feel and be the beautiful black woman she is today. "They always helped remind me that is not about who you are on the outside, its about who you are in the inside...". Dee Summers also mentioned that being yourself is the best thing you could ever do.
